ITA - Finalborgo ebbe il maggior sviluppo durante il Medioevo, quando era la capitale del Marchesato di Finale, governato dai marchesi Del Carretto e sotto la Spagna (XVII secolo). Il borgo è stato recensito come uno dei borghi liguri più belli d'Italia.

ENG - Finalborgo had the greatest development during the Middle Ages, when it was the capital of the Marquisate of Finale, ruled by the marquises Del Carretto and under Spain (17th century). The village has been reviewed as one of the most beautiful Ligurian villages in Italy.
